ROLAND KICKINGER TERMINATOR SALVATION SERIES
In this original timeline, the last design created by Cyberdyne Systems itself, was the Series 70. In the original timeline Skynet itself designed and began production of the Series 800 in 2026, due to the ease with which the Resistance could identify the Skynet designed Series 600 with its rubber skin. This made it Skynet's first successful Infiltrator unit, capable of infiltrating the human Resistance. The T-800 was Skynet's first cybernetic organism, with living tissue over a hyperalloy endoskeleton. Individual terminators within the series are often referred to as T-800's. The Series 800 is a type of terminator mass produced by Skynet.

While the T2 Extreme Edition DVD refer it as series 800 or a T-800, the Terminator 3: Rise of the Machine's DVD extras refer to it as 850 series Model 101, T-850 and a T-101.įor other types and sub-models based on Series 800, see Series 8xx In Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines the Terminator refer itself as a T-101. In Terminator 2: Judgment Day, the same is displayed inside the Terminator while he reboots. In The Terminator, Kyle refer the Terminator as a Cyberdyne Systems Model 101. The Model 101 has been used at least on the T-800 and T-850. When it came to creating the human tissue model for T-800 Series, Skynet used this stored information, along with the data from various other human head scans, to model the Infiltrator faces on. Volunteering to give his likeness to future military robotics, Sergeant Candy's head was laser scanned by Cyber Research Systems (previously known as Cyberdyne), the resultant 3-Dimensional representation of his face being stored for future use. ROLAND KICKINGER TERMINATOR SALVATION SKIN
The Model 101 skin covering grown for the cybernetic organisms was based upon U.S. It is also sometimes called CSM-101 or simply Model-101. James Cameron states that ".the model 101s all look like Arnold Schwarzenegger, with a 102 looking like someone else.".

The Cyberdyne Systems Model 101 is referring to "the mould around the metal endoskeleton (the skin), and in this case, 101 refers to mould number 101". Holmes: "I really hope she's crazy, Dieter, if that's an improvement over the original version." Not as bad as it would have been six years ago maybe. Holmes: "How bad do you expect this thing to get?"ĭieter: "Bad. By coincidence, he was the likeness that would be used for the Cyberdyne Systems Model 101 Series 800 terminators that hunted and helped them previously. Here is the info on how they got Arnie's body for the Terminator.ĭieter von Rossbach was a former agent that lived in Paraguay when Sarah and John Connor moved there. So there still is a chance maybe to have a cameo at the end of part 5 or 6. Maybe Kickinger could be one of the few skins that were used in the production of the T-800 and 101's There could have been a few humans with the body of Arnolds.

I think it's another solid choice adding more to the production. Helena Bonham Carter, Common), McG is keeping up the tempo.
Not to be down on him, but he's mostly a prop that connects the new trilogy to the original series. You know he has some part as a hulky T-800, but he's not the key antagonist considering the guy's minimal experience. But without actually reading the small bit of info, I bet folks can envision Kickinger's role in the overall film. Of Kickinger's role in Terminator Salvation, you can head over to the original article since it's somewhat spoiler-ish. If McG can't have the real thing, he's definitely come as close as possible. I had several mentors, but Arnold… he's definitely an amazing inspiration." The two actually trained together at one point, and Kickinger even played Arnold in a A&E biopic. Of the original cyborg assassin, Kickinger says, "He was a great mentor. Similar to Schwarzenegger, Kickinger is from Austria, a career bodybuilder who recently turned to motion pictures. Kickinger seems a smart choice considering the man's background. It seems I can continue to do so, since the Clinton News-Record out of Ontario (thanks AICN!) brings us word that Schwarzenegger-inspired bodybuilder Roland Kickinger (seen above) will assume the role that the "Governator" would have otherwise filled. Given the former Terminator's political standing, I've constantly brushed off the possibility. Ever since the film's announcement, a pressing question has been whether Arnold Schwarzenegger would reprise his role in some capacity (even as a cameo). The first teaser trailer for Terminator Salvation just hit yesterday afternoon and today we gain even more insight into the highly anticipated (at least to me!) project slated for release in May of 2009.
